No doubt nowadays mobiles phones have become a cant-live-without accessory to many of us. I myself make sure to keep my phone somewhere in the vicinity wherever I am so that I wont miss any calls or SMS. Thinking back I find it quite amusing that once upon a time I didn’t own a mobile and my life was just perfect with out it. But then again, now after getting so used to a mobile, I would find myself totally lost without one.
A few weeks ago someone robbed one of my buddies N series mobile in the bus. I can imagine how upset she was coz I treat my phone like gold and carry it around in a phone pouch which has a neck chain.
Yesterday, while driving back home with a friend I told my friend hang on to it while I drove. My phone was the last thing on our minds as she rushed to catch the bus.
A little while later handsfree beeped.
“Now how in heaven did my hands free get disconnected” I thought to myself and instantly looked around for my handbag, as I assumed my phone was there.
I was at a standstill with the severe traffic, when my friend came running back to car and gave me my phone. I thanked her and just took without thinking twice.
Ten minutes later I get a call, “Is your phoning working ok?” She asked.
“Ya, why???” I inquired. My blood almost ran cold when I heard what really happened.
When she got off the car the phone would had probably fallen off her lap and had got entangled somewhere and was trailing along with her when she was trying to hop into the bus. Thankfully a good old soul had spotted it and told her “Miss your phone”.

She too was baffled as to how it managed to tag along and didn’t get run over by another vehicle. Whew…………………………..a narrow shave no doubt.
Thank God for miracles

lucky someone pointed it out.. a good soul...
and yes, miracles do happen once in a while....
anyhow, now the phone has become a "necessity". Someday, with blackberry like software, all of us will be tied to the office and that too would be normal...
