A Memory of Yesterday

I remember ever so long ago, Time can not rob my memories so, For a short time you were there, And vanished Oh! where. You hardly gave me time, To gather memorizes that were mine, But here I am today, With my memorizes not decay. I wonder what it would have been, If life had not changed from scene to scene, But it is not for me to know, As life is a confusing show. You live on at vast, A sweet memory of my past, But life goes on I know, So with it I will go.                                                   I wrote this poem in loving memory of my mother who passed away many years ago.  Have you been faced with the death of someone who was very dear to you? Have you been able to cope with grief? Have you been able to grieve without jeopardizing the rest of your life and the lives of your family members? We never know wh...

Live, Love, and Die Right - Collateral Beauty

Collateral Beauty  is an awesome movie that touches your very soul. It is centered on how to find yourself all over again after a terrible tragedy. However, most importantly it reveals the Love-Death-Time existential triangle that connects every human being. Love - We long for love Time - We wish we had more time. Death - We fear death. Collateral Beauty also draws examples to various peoples lives to make us question whether we are living right, using our time wisely,  and even dying right. Well, in reality with every passing moment we are spending time. Time once spent can never be bought back. Therefore, the question "why" should always linger in our minds. You should always question as to why you do things to get down to the actual motive, question whether it is worth it, and then question as to how you could do things better. Why did I do or say that?   Did I do or say that to keep up with society?  Did I do or say that to shine among my peers? D...

Put Yourself in Their Shoes

Are you sad? Are they sad? How are they handling it? Did you cry when they left? Will you cry when they go? These words are like clichés that we hear now and then when someone dies, gets married and leaves home, goes overseas for higher studies, or even leaves home to start a fresh on greener pastures. How often do we stop to ponder on the words that we utter; especially, in sensitive situations? It is one thing to make chit chat, but what point is conversation without substance. Do we ever stop and put ourselves in their shoes before words leave our mouths?   I hope we all make a conscious effort to THINK BEFORE SPEAKING without intentionally or unintentionally adding salt to other people’s wounds. Live, Love & Laugh

The dawning of each new day is a miracle by itself; but with it brings change that goes unnoticed. After all with each day we are getting a day older, growing up and growing older. Age is just a number so there is no reason to take life too seriously. What is important is that we make the maximum out of life and enjoy it while we can. So make sure that you really LIVE LIFE to its fullest without being too caught up in the rat race of life because,  Yesterday is a memory, Tomorrow is a dream All you have is here and NOW. So LIVE , LOVE and LAUGH ……..

Hair Colour vs. Salt & Pepper Look

When I was a kid I had the impression that white hair equals old, but now that I have grown up and have silver threads of my own and even though they have come earlier than expected I think on a different note; as in “What the heck why not grow old gracefully?”.  Not, like colouring your hair but when you don’t maintain it and colour it regularly, it looks like hell…. What are your thoughts?   Is the salt and pepper hair look better for men than women Or is colouring better?

Hi Again

Wow, it’s been simply ages since I last blogged, four and a half years to be precise. I am happy to be back again but am not sure that I will have the time to blog so often like those days due to family commitments. My little angel consumes quite a bit of my time when I get back from work so time is scarce; but I enjoy every bit of life with my family and couldn’t have wanted anything different.   I will be back with a post soon.

You can never take too many

I simply love clicking at every moment; coz each moment is special in its own way. As a result I snap away so that I can capture the moments and preserve them. Those days I was rather reluctant to snap at every turn coz it was rather a costly affair and time consuming process when it came to printing the snaps out. So I had to be selective and hope that I got a good pick. Later on came the digital camera which allowed me to click at every turn and delete snaps if they didn’t meet my fancy. The down side of the digital camera was the fact that I had to always remember to charge the camera batteries in advance as the camera used to virtually drink up all the battery energy before I could barely begin my venture. Not to mention I used to have to make it a point to take the camera around. After that came my 3.2pix camera phone – SE K800i. To me it’s all that I want and more. The picture quality and snaps are awesome and I can video off it as well which is an added bonus. After I got my SE...
